I've been watching all the season reviews on YouTube (yeah I know haha) but a lot of the more informed individuals who post videos seem to be very high on Ingram and the back end of the season where he averaged 20/6/4. His body reminds me of SuperSonics KD, but my question today is what do you think his ceiling is?

I believe if he can fix the 3pt shot and FT% he can be KD-ish on great nights but a 22/5/5 guy on average nights. Again this is BI hitting his ceiling.

What do you guys think?

His ceiling is a a better defending, worse shooting KD.

somebody on this roster has to score and it will be ingram.
my best guess is that they will feature him early and often in order to both assess his potential and to make him visible as a trade candidate

I don’t know what he can or can’t do because I don’t watch the lakers, but I do watch the pels and as we know we haven’t had a wing who can create from the perimeter since mashburn

His form on his jump shot looks like he can be a shooter.

KD was always a great shooter going back to high school. Ingram has some inconsistent mechanics and shoots some awkward shots at times, but can stroke it on occasion and should get better.

I think he’s more Anthony Davis than KD. Handles of KD, but with the shot of AD. Defensively he’s not great so far, but KD is his comp.

I think Ingram can be an All-Star but he won’t ever be a top 10 player in the league

I think it's going to be an interesting decision with him next year, when he'll be due for a new contract. I think his future will depend on how we're doing next year. If we aren't contending for a playoff spot, Ingram could command a lot of value to a contending team at the trade deadline. I think a lot will depend on how well he fits with the rest of the young guys.

Contract year so I would expect him to ball out. He'll never be KD those comparisons were kinda unfair but 20 points per game type of guy that's a solid defender easily.

I hope his best career highlight isn’t sucker punching Chris Paul. Although I enjoyed that thoroughly.

Pulled these comments from a youtube video of Ingram scoring 36 points.

I hope he's right.
