I prefer sitting in the first row behind the bus driver. The criminals tend to congregate in the back of the Greyhound bus.

2A or 2D or 4A or 4D depending on the plane and where the exit is.

Exit row aisle. Usually get those with my American Airlines Status. Not enough status for first class though :(

Row right behind first class. They typically have the most leg room on the whole plane

Business if my company pays for it, if not then economy plus. Aisle seat either way so I can get up and take a piss at my leisure without having to step over anybody else

Aisle - use to be the windows aligned with seat and you could but shoulder in window.
Now that they squeezed seats need to lean shoulders in aisle

If in business/1st, row 1 left side. If in economy, 1st row. I only sit in business/1st or plus.

Window seat, exit row (for more leg room). If an exit row seat isn't available then up at the front because I've traveled enough to know how to not take 15 fricking minutes AFTER the doors have opened to get my shite out of the overhead storage.

Yes, on an exit row.

Inside. Outside is too windy.

2A and 2B for me and my wife. As near to the front of first class without having the partition to stop me from stretching out. Unless it’s international, inwhich case anywhere in first is fine because the seats recline to horizontal.

Window. Don’t care after that. I never fly first class. I’m too cheap and too poor. I’ve flown to Asia and Europe this year and no worries. I avoid aisles and bulkheads. I flew back from Nice Thursday and there were about 6/7 empty rows in the back - my point is if you sit in the back sometimes that happens and you can grab the whole row and sleep.

Long flights, business or first class, aisle or window makes no difference.
Non rev, wherever they put us as long as we can get on.

Always aisle for long flights, I don’t like bothering people or waking them up when I need to pee.

Anything more than 3 hours, First Class. Never sat in First Class, but after trips to Europe, not worth it to sit with the sardines. No more for me!!!

I put the cut off at 5 hours. Anything transatlantic I want a lay flat seat.
Regardless of fare class, I think aisle is the way to go, so I can get up and stretch and walk around.
