If Boston is calling me about 4, the deal I would be angling for is 4, Solo, and Moore for Hayward, 14, 22, and Memphis pick. Celtics now have Garland, Tatum, Brown and a bunch of space/flexibility.

So the best thing about that trade is the Memphis pick. Idk bout that.

Yeah, I’m not super high on trading back. There’s a reason all these teams are interested in moving up.

Yeah, Hayward’s appeal lessens when you realize you have to pay Ingram after this season, meaning $50m or more per season for two injury cases.

Or Hayward returning to form, which we saw improvement every month of this year from him, and then we have an actual all star. I'd do that deal in a heartbeat and would love it.
It would also give you the opportunity to bring the 14 and 22 pick along slowly since you'd have a lot of depth at the wing for a change. and you get the Memphis pick!

That trade gets me giddy. I'd punch Griffin in the face the first time i meet him if this was an offer and he didn't take it.

Ball/Jrue/Ingram/Hayward/Zion is a very long lineup where pretty much everyone can guard everyone in a small ball lineup.

I think people forget that Hayward is 6'8" 225. Draymond or PJ Tucker's fat arse isn't backing him down like they would to Ingram, and Ingram needs to watch more Durant for his defense, not offense.
