Griffin was 100% aware. I’m sure he didn’t bring it up on purpose.
He made the picks in the trade the way they were for a reason. He wants them to be terrible in 3-5 years.

I must over estimate how much these teams talk while negotiating a trade.
I would think this would come up during discussions.
