Sure, but you just can't predict what will happen over the next few years, and since we were forced into this deal, we have to hope that incompetent ownership and management will win out in the end. Its all we have.

i mean, kinda when you are are a franchise that has had its fair number of stars and you have one in AD that you could immediately pair with. and its also very wishful thinking to assume that the same incompetent people who are in charge right now will still be in charge three years now

Look, I get you have to roll with "its the Lakers" and all that jazz, but since were forced into this deal, we have to make the best of it. And the only card we had to play was betting on the Lakers continuing to be the Lakers.
May work out, may not. Only time will tell.
