Who would the realistically give up for the 4? You don’t want Brown now since we already have a guy who’s gonna be a RFA after this upcoming season.

They had to have. No way they just didn’t bother working out Culver, Hunter, Garland and beyond. They knew they were getting extra firsts for a while. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen something saying they worked out Langford

If Im the pelicans I say hell no. Ingram performed better than tatum did last year before being sidelined. I still think tatum is the better overall player but then you are going to add in number 4 and a 2021 1st. Thats a no for me.

We need to do nothing with the pick accept hold it. Garland is the real deal and he is that scoring/shooting combo guard we have been wanting so bad.

Garland must have an amazing agent to be getting all these leaks about how impressive he is.

Overpaying for Tatum. Blood clots aside, how is Tatum that much more of a proven commodity than Ingram such that you'd be willing to throw away the #4 pick, too?

People have suggested #4 and Ingram for Beal. At this point I think I'd rather have Ingram (who can be extended long-term) and Garland for seven years.

If Garland has been killing workouts like that we need to be taking him.

if we do, we almost certalnly need to call Phoenix and gauge their interest in Ball...

The talk on Garlands isn't brand new at all. Lots of people feel that in this top heavy draft, he's a clear cut #4 or #5.

I wouldn't mind #4 and BI for Tatum and the Memphis pick.

I don’t think you’re getting Tatum with just 4 and Ingram. Now that is all you might be willing to give up and that’s fine, you don’t do the deal. Boston was reluctant to put Tatum in a deal for AD, they obviously think highly of him. And I think we do too.

It's a possibility. And initially I was in favor of trading down a few spots but now I'm reconsidering. Assuming Garland lives up to most of his potential, he's still an asset you can trade a month, a year, two years, whatever, after you draft him. Same with Ingram assuming you have a contract extension.

Rather than dealing away assets for Beal I would rather the Pelicans make a run at Russell who will almost certain be an unrestricted free agent. Granted, that's a hard sell to Russell considering a dozen other teams will want him, too.

This board was in on Hunter a few days ago

The Tatum/Beal dream is still real to me damnit.

Still don't see how Tatum is that much more valuable than Ingram, personal opinions aside.
