Anybody watch the first episode yet? Thoughts?
Is it basically a dark, gritty version of 13 Reasons Why? Or am I totally off base?

I watched it. They made it look like all teens do is do drugs, drink, frick and party. It was real cutting edge stuff.

I'll let a couple episodes dvr before I start but I did tune in for just a second on accident and....

Yeah. I'm not one for high school shows but this is probably the highest quality one I've seen. At a minimum there's some excellent visuals and directing and Zendaya is a pretty good actor.

I did. It's basically porn. I'm not exagerating. One scene is a black guy choking a white girl during sex. Flip the races on that one and see what happens. Lots of peen shots also. Not sure who the audience is for this one.
