I consider myself conservative, but fiscally only.
Government has zero business in social affairs and everyone should be treated equally as long as they arent hurting another citizen.
I actually like the show. Likely one of the few. If some boy identifies as a girl, it isnt my place to say one way or the other. Actually think the young girl is acting pretty damn well for her first gig.
If she is talented she should get more opportunities on her skill as an actress and not for her being a transexual or not.

Well this thread sure got derailed since episode 1.
I like this show a lot. Perfect popcorn cheesy drama with enough quality cinematography and acting for it not to be utter shite. Also the addiction stuff with rue is enough to get me into the emotional side of the show.

Watched the first two episodes tonight. Best way for me to comprehend it is a much darker version of 13 Reasons Why. Very fricked up plotline but pretty damn good. Was getting a litttle too dark for me until Rue met the tranny. Would also note that the rampant use/access of drugs and sex is very overexaggerated and unrealistic for a bunch of high school kids imo but still nonetheless entertaining. Curious to see how the season plays out - so many fricked up possibilities.

Conservative here also and I enjoy the show. Although as a father of three kids between 18 and 22 years old I don't believe my kids would be too happy the way their generation has been portrayed in this show. Drugs, sex, drugs, sex and depession. Just my .02

My problem isn't with the gratuitous obscenity itself. It is the gratuitous obscenity with no real meaning. Its edgy just to be edgy. Way too on the surface for me.
And its unrealistic.
