Grounds Crew at a minor league baseball stadium. Was a fun job during my college summers.

Our favorite weeks every year were when the travel ball tournaments would use the field. We'd heckle the shite out of the players from the left field tent we had set up that we would sit in during the games and barbeque and drink and all of that, just to see how many travel ball parents and Braydens we could piss off.

We had one player try to purposely hit us with an errant throw during warm ups before one game.

Ran earthmover at gravel pit.Miserable job, basically going around big oval, pick up load dirt then ride to other side and dump it.Hot as hell, eating dust, machine so loud couldn’t hear radio. Two weeks into it I decided I would go to college-I had GI bill.Pretty stupid not to take advantage of it.

Worked as a laborer down at Shell Geismar during a summer break in college. The carpenter asks me to get him a sheet of plywood. I come back with a 2X4. Go back for the right piece an hour later.. and all is still well as the union carpenter can blame the college kid for not getting their work done...Hey, I like that kid...hahaha..

Commercial pipe fitting. Mad respect for baws that do it everyday for a living. FWIW I only lasted 3 months.

Painting houses during the summers in high school. Worked with a bunch of cut throat mexicans..They spoke no English..at least to me..One of them would take a shite in an empty paint bucket in the bushes.

After high school I torn down houses from sunup to sundown. After coming close to serious injury several times, I quit after two weeks.
