We should just abolish women's sports. If there is no difference in athleticism between men and women, just let the ones good enough play on the men's national team.

There is a differential. This is group play. Run up the score at all costs.

You failed to mention, that after the game, the U.S. women went and hugged the Thais, and offered encouragement.
And where was this outrage when the U.S. Men's basketball team was running up the score on opposing teams in the early years of Olympic basketball.

I do disagree with running up the score. But as the great Joe Gibbs said after the Patriots thrashed the Redskins in a game in 2007 (score was 52-7), basically "it was our job to stop them from scoring, and we didn't do our job."

If this were PeeWee League, HS or even collegiate-level sports I could see some issue here.
But it's not, it's professional level and sometimes getting your arse handed to you by someone excited to do it is just fricking part of it. If someone is bothered by their opponent cheering about their win then they shouln't be competing at that level.

I watched some of the college softball and it's hilarious how when they get, say, a ground out, the whole team gathers together and cheers

The only truly excessive celebration I saw was Rapinoe's and that's because she's an idiot. 2 of the women scored their 1st ever goals in the World Cup and were congratulated by teamamtes. So what? The other possible excessive one was Alex Morgan when she scored her 5th and celebrated with her team for a world cup tying record. Getting a record that may never be surpassed is probably a cause for celebration. It is in ever other sport.
