This is supposed to be the #1 team. I challenge them to play like it.

I’m sure everyone on the team would be pumped to have the season end tomorrow.

I’m sure this thread will be the inspiration they need.

No, regardless of how we got here, if you lose a super at home it is a disappointment.

I know a few posters on here will only be satisfied if we lose tomorrow. It means they have a week of shitposting to look forward to.

No. This is LSU, and i refuse to except mediocrity. Tons of upperclassmen came back with the #1 recruiting class. It’s omaha or bust, every year. LSU baseball used to be like Bama football. We would reload every year. We have the horses, but we aren’t getting the most out of the talent we have. Plain and simple.

As long as we compete is all that matters.

They’ve already severely underachieved. If they win I’m happy but never really expected them too.

No but I won’t be calling for CPM to be fired either. My expectations were Omaha and they still are. Lose this series and this season will be a disappointment overall. Won’t be surprised if we win tomorrow and Monday and won’t be surprised if we lose tomorrow. Henry only going 2 innings arguably cost us the game today.

It's been a very tough season. Losing players to injury cannot be overemphasized. But this team was a preseason number 1. When preseason expectations of that magnitude are not realized the season in general is viewed as a failure. I personally think it's still been a very good season even if it ends in the Super Regional. But most people will see it as a failure simply because of the preseason expectations. Had LSU's preseason expectations been a ranking in the 20's then most people would see losing in the SR a successful season. But it has still, IMO, been a good season, not great, I mean, this is LSU baseball, we were a dynasty in the 1990's. Anything less than a NC isn't a great season, or even a really good season, but good, not bad, good.

The loser PM defenders on here will be satisfied . No one should be , not at LSU . The only time we should be satisfied is with a NC
