Can we wait to see how the series ends before doing this?

but I would take Chris Pollard in a heartbeat

Really? In a heartbeat? He’s only made the tournament 4 times in his 14 year career and has a losing conference record in his 7 year stint at Duke.

I personally like Duke's head coach. Dude came to rebuild them and did.

He’s resurrected a team that had figuratively done nothing in 50+ years.

You answered your own question . Don't watch the games or pull for another team .

the guy has losing conference records at App State and Duke. In typical rant fashion, one team gets hot and their coach is the next best thing.

Because he beat Vandy last night?

Overall record: 477–381–1

Tournaments:
NCAA: 2–4
ACC: 3–3
SoCon: 10–14

No thanks

Manure made every move possible to put his team in a position to lose. Today he was VERY Successful!

Which coaches do you think he should be contacting?

The ones that can actually recruit players that can hit for extra bases and power. You do realize we haven't been in the top 50 in homers since he's been here? It matters.

Remember when we used to hit homers? What happened?

So who is #1 on your list?

This reasoning is flawed!

There may be several young coaches out there right now, that no LSU fan has ever heard of that could be the next great college baseball coach. Just because a random fan can't rattle of a name doesn't make PM the best Coach in the game.
It certainly doesn't mean he should be the coach at LSU for the next 5-10 years.

He just needs to retire!

I have seen enough of Les miles I mean Paul Mainieri.

I hope he is contacting Kevin O’Sullivan, Jim Schossnagle or Scott Stricklin, since they are home to take the calls. Tim Corbin, Mike Bianco and John Savage might be too busy trying to work their way back from 0-1 like Mainieri.
