I don't go to church, but if I did, I can't imagine having a problem with someone wearing shorts.

Negative ghostrider. Protestants may not wear suits anymore but most at least strive for business casual. Catholics dress like they're heading to the Prop Stop after church.

Khakis? Always
Jorts? No
Basketball shorts? On some Sunday/Wednesday nights when playing basketball before/after church with teens.
It's too hot in the south to wear full length pants, I wore jeans/dress pants maybe 3 times in the past 365 days.
And I'm not exaggerating.
But that being said, I'm not going to judge someone who showed up in jorts or basketball shorts for Sunday morning service. At least they are in the building.

I don't even let my kids wear jeans to church on a Sunday. Midweek service, jeans are OK. Shorts? Nope.
