In playoffs:
31.4 PPG
8.4 RPG
3.6 APG
51% from field
41% from 3
88% from FT

Along with being one of the best defenders in the league. He shut down Giannis in the 4th last night.

A lot up the air regarding Kawhi's future, but it's not crazy to say that he is the best player in the NBA, and is looking good for an MVP run next season.

It's not crazy to say he is.

Giannis is growing every year, though. Steph and KD will get the ring. Kawhi has a good argument, but it's a competitive scene.

He would be if he played more games. Kawhi has had only one season in his career when he missed fewer than 10 regular season games. For comparison's sake, Harden has averaged 78 games a season over the past seven years, LeBron has only missed seven games a season over his entire career and KD has missed more than 10 games only three times during his career.

I think he's a close 2nd behind KD. I think LeBron is 3 coming into next season...

KD
Kawhi
LeBron
Curry
Giannis

It's amazing how well he progressed, and how good he has become.

I went and looked at his stats, numbers, and every year he got better, continued to get better, while some peak early in careers, he continues to progress.

He is one of the 4-5 you can make a real argument for, but these things are not objective.

No Order in each tier - Just my opinion.

S+ tier- Legit "probably the best" contenders:
-KD
-LBJ
-Harden
-Curry
-Kawhi

S Tier - The "could win an MVP if they light on fire 1 season" group :
-Westbrook
-AD
-Giannis
-Lillard
-Embiid
-Kyrie
-Nurk (? maybe)
-PG13

A Tier - Guys who you absolutely want playing with guys in the S / S+ Tier for your team:
-Butler
-Simmons
-Kemba
-Klay
-Oladipo
-Middleton
-KAT
-Draymond
-Wall
-Porzingis
-Gobert
-Nurk (? maybe)
-Donovan Mitchell
-Jason Tatum
-Beal
-Jrue Holiday
-Kyle Lowery
-DeRozan
-L. Aldridge
-Mike Conley
-Wiggins

This is not for anything other than entertainment and showing my opinion

He certainly has an argument. He has definitely outplayed Giannis thus far, which I was not expecting.

I don't watch as much NBA as I used to,but I'm familiar with Leonard.

He got game.

I like the way he plays.Plays hard.Old school player.

He's not a prima dona like some.

Kawhi, LeBron, Curry and Harden all have a legit claim to the title of best player going into next season. Last year playoff LeBron still looked like the obvious answer but he hasn't played at that level for an extended time since.

Good shooter inside 18 ft, but KD range at his size makes him the best in the world. Make no mistake
