Why wouldn’t he defend himself after Pelosi came out and claimed he acted like a toddler in their meeting?

Seems weirder to me that he wouldn’t defend himself given that he remains under constant daily attack by the left. You appear to be of the school of thought that he should act Republican and just cave to the left and their media wing.

When you're under attack by the media and 90% of coverage is negative with much of it complete falsehoods, you might try this. It gets more coverage than a simple rebuttal.
