He’s been in the limelight his whole life as a playboy/ construction magnate who loves attention and surely has a big ego . I don’t know anyone who would say that was particularly bad . Now he’s the leader of the free world who’s constantly hounded that he’s a criminal because NOW they don’t like his flamboyant lifestyle , not presidential enough . So he likes his ego stroked so what . Him ‘ “lining up “ his staff after he’s accused of something to show the dims lying maybe is what he needs to do to point out the the BS . Remember this happened before when NP said he did this during the shutdown which was proven a lie

Well the quote was my take on how it went down but there is a picture with the article with the aides lined up behind him and then he called on them one at a time to tell the assembled press he was calm.

Kudlow is standing there leaning on a cane.

It really was a pathetic scene.

Come on—surely you think that strange.

What I think is strange is that the Obama administration and a Deep state cult tried to steal our national election and then tried to blame Trump for being Russian. That's much more concerning than Trump telling people he's a calm genius. However, coming from you IB, I can understand why you think this is much more severe

Why would anybody condone the behavior of Obama or the deep state?

Why would anybody think parading subordinates out to testify as to one’s demeanor was anything less than strange???

Are you even aware of what happened yesterday? Do you have any idea what's coming?

I should probably pray for you Trump haters, but I'm not so inclined at the moment. Maybe later.

In light of all the fabricated witch hunts, and the attacks on his family, and the blatant violence that has been displayed.... I’d say he is a hell of a lot calmer than I would be. As far as genius, well the country is doing better than it ever has by any meaningful measure. And this is after 8 years of “hope and change”. So I think he’s spot on.

No we find you strange.

If the news is going to continue to cover him at a 90+% negative rate that turns out to be false, then I expect him to defend with eye witness accounts.

Maybe the media should stop creating fake stories then TRUMP wouldn't keep having to set the record straight and you wouldn't have to start as many Melt Threads about it.

This press conference and lining up his staff proved that he is an insecure, unstable idiot. Pelosi is outflanking him and rattling him bigly.

I don't know that it proved anything other he is prone to wallow in the mud with the carrier politicians like Pelosi.

He did nothing but give credence to her claims by parading out paid assistants to testify to his demeanor. If asked he should have just said "I was clam in the meeting"---he must think nobody believes what he says.

I remember a guy I knew in a business situation. When he really got to a point he thought was important to his position on a deal he would start out saying "in all honesty--". I never trusted the guy. Trump reminds me of that. Spouts off all day and but he doesn't really thinks the people believe him. When he really wants to be believed he rounds up paid subordinates to acknowledge he is not lying. Very strange.

He should ignore crap like Pelosi says but he just can't bring himself to do it.

On a side note--wouldn't you love to be a car salesman or time share salesman or something and have the trumpkins here as customers??? "buy this time share and help Trump MAGA"

he doesn't have the balls to do that. Think what you want but he doesn't have the policy chops to do that in front of a camera.
