Sent in my pair for the 3rd time in 10 years. Rubber nose and earpieces were rotting from sweat/sunscreen.

Only charge to me was $5 to ship it to them. They have never actually charged my card for the warranty assessment fee or whatever it is.

Turnaround time always about 2 weeks.

You can call them trash baw glasses. Dont care. Company stands by its product.

Yea, but then you have to wear plastic, ugly glasses.

I’ve owned multiple pairs of RayBans for between ten and fifteen years. I’ve never had to send any of them off for anything. So, yay that they are willing to fix your shitty glasses when they rot?

Sunglasses literally cost these companies less than $1.00 a pair to manufacture. They can afford to fix them every year for as long as you live.

When you're willing to pay $200 for a $4 pair of sun glasses, they can afford to fix it for you several times over. Especially when you are paying shipping.

It's like otter box or life proof cases. I'm on my fifth one .

Had 3 pairs of Costas. They were ok. I now sport Maui Jims. The lenses are about the same but the MJ frame is superior in every way. Have had them for 3 years now and no issues from sweat and sunscreen like the Costas.

I have the Wassups.

I got an email today saying my pair will be fixed/replaced under warranty. I sent it to them fully expecting to get charged for the frame replacement.

I have a pair of Smiths that the lenses fell out in the water and they are giving me the run around. Will stick to Costa for baw activity eyewear.

I have some that may have been chewed on by a German sheppard. I'm wanting to send them in and see if they'll warranty them.

I'm hoping someone will chime in and say Costa covered something similar.

I’ve had several Costa lenses that delaminated and SOL with warranty. Back in the day, Academy would swap damaged Costas for a new pair.

I am always surprised by how much people beat up sunglasses. I have a pair of Revos (pre Luxottica Group) that I have had for 21 years and a pair of Persols I have had for 6 years and never had any issues with them. The only pair of sunglasses I ever lost was a pair of Vuarnet Cateyes I left on top of the locker at the gym in college.

They do have a good warranty... Also a shite product.

Maui Jim’s are far superior. Kaupo Gap is the current style I’m wearing.
