Try getting everyone to believe in the easter bunny. You would have a much larger chance of being believed.

I don’t really care. I have never smoked it and have no plans to. Even if it were legal I still wouldn’t be able to partake because my job does random drug test. Now if I could I would maybe try it now just see what it is all about. If it went to a vote I would vote for legislation, as I can clearly see the medical reasons for it. It is a natural drug that helps ppl with certain problems. It isn’t some synthetic crap manufactured in a lab. All of that being said I find the bullshite and excuses the pot heads use to be hilarious. The best one is that weed cures cancer.

If people that use it would be responsible like I am when I use it, I’m fine with it. I fear people that fire up, get out on the road and then put others in jeopardy.

And why? My parents are disgusted by it and I really have no idea as to why they feel this way. The only reason they give me is “it’s a drug.”

The vast majority of Americans are mindless robots who have zero critical thinking skills or the ability to think for themselves. Just the way the powers that be like it. Conformist little sheep.

Or never trying heroine, but being totally against it right?

I have no desire to smoke weed any longer, but at the same time, I have no desire to rule the world either.

Keep in mind, they’ve never done it before, so they don’t know anything about it, which is why I’m so confused as to why they hate it so much.

Because the preacher and the politician told them so.

I have felt that one real problem with legalization is their is no "Breathalyzer test" that can be administered on the side of the highway. To my knowledge it is blood or urinalysis test required.

When they solve this issue I think it will be legalized Federally

I see we have a JRE disciple here.

I’m all for the legalization of pot. It doesn’t impact me one way or the other, I am just tired of all the Rastafarian looking douches preaching it cures this and it cures that and that it’s some magical, miracle cure for everything from glaucoma to cancer to paralysis to AIDS.

You want to smoke it and get high. That’s fine. People drink to get drunk, but don’t try to sell me all this health bullshite

I'm for legalization, but not because I partake (I don't). I just don't think it's any of my damned business if a grown man wants to smoke a fairly harmless drug. Like alcohol, it should be age-restricted and you shouldn't drive high. Despite my support, people who build a life around smoking weed are annoying. I have a cousin, and smoking weed, introducing others to weed, and extolling the medicinal value of weed is pretty much his entire identity.

All of this

I'm an old guy. Smoked a little weed in college, not much. Haven't smoked in 40 years. Honestly, was never that impressed with it. That being said, marijuana should have been legalized many years ago. Regulated and taxed like the alcohol industry. No need in ruining anybody's life over wanting to get a little high. Drug laws are mostly pretty damn stupid that way.

It’s treated exactly the same as alcohol in prohibition days

All drugs should be legal to use. Prohibition doesn't work, creates dangerous alternatives and is costly.

Government has no business telling a person what they can or can't do in their own home if it isn't theft or violence.
