How many states say frick it like they do with immigration and become sanctuary states for abortion? Can state and federal government do anything to stop it? Since they apparently don't want to, or can't do anything to stop it.

If Roe were overturned, that wouldn't mean abortion was illegal. It would mean there was no federal stance on it.

So, your comparison is incorrect.

Now, if after Roe were overturned, the Fed passed abortion legislation, you would then have a valid comparison

Sorry. But, if Roe disappeared today, it simply reverts BACK to state's right to decide. It does not make abortion "illegal". So, any state that decided to allow it would NOT be in contravention to a Fed law precluding.

That’s the beauty of state’s rights. Any state that wants abortion legal, can keep it legal. Any state that wants to outlaw or limit abortion, can do that. It’s the state’s decision.

States should decide. Let all the abortion cult live together in harmony.

Hopefully doctors would take heed that they are breaking the law and would have to answer for their crime.

I took your post as meaning that abortion would become illegal.

Roberts won't overturn Roe vs. Wade. You only have Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh.

A lot of liberals do not understand that we are a republic.

Sadly, that would not make all non-defensive killing illegal again.

Agreed.

Before some MENSA candidate says that I am inconsistent on this issue, I support abortion rights SUBSTANTIVELY and believe that it is bad policy to outlaw the procedure. CONSTITUTIONALLY, Roe is suspect, and the decision should be made at the State level. That means ZERO federal role, for all those who would immediately try to pass a nationwide ban.

Seems to be the way people are wanting it to be.

I dont get why scotus is making national law with their decisions. They have taken away State, and Voters rights away with this bullshite. Gay marriage bull shite needs to be next.

OK let's go ahead and throw this into it then. You know what I meant anyway, you guys have to be so damn literal. Us simpletons can't always be so damn specific.

So yes, if it were overturned and either federal made it illegal or state made it illegal, how many cities would say frick it, become a sanctuary city for abortion? And will the feds or state officials do anything about it?

Well shite, you have judges, police at the state and local levels, who blatantly say frick you to the federal immigration laws and don't face any charges....Why should doctors be held to a different standard?

Am sure some States will become magnets for such a matter. Then, they could do all sorts of things as a spin off, such a vanity license plates lauding the shedding of innocent blood, could stand up No Parenthood Zones, etc.

Before Roe, abortion or abortion restriction was a states rights, state-to-state premise. If Roe was undone, it would be deferred to the states again.

Under current Georgia law (well Jan 2020 because they don't care enough about abortion to put the law into effect asap), planning to leave the state and have an abortion is a crime.

So some states will be under sharia law, and others won't? What a fricked up future you idiots want.

Why is it such a big deal if someone wants to get an abortion.

How many kids have you taken into your home in your limitless love for all children?

I really don't get this. It's basically natural selection. And we should let old people die versus going to extremes to keep 80-year-olds alive.
