between Milton Freidman and Maggie Thatcher, a little less right

I am good with that, although I am dubious about the test because you can tell how to drive the results if you want to.

edit to add: like how the answer key shows how hitler as "far right" is bullshite

Btw this test doesn’t realize that fascism is a far left ideology. It’s just national socialism. Hitler should be in the far upper left corner.

It also doesn’t take the effects of tribalism into consideration.
Like the ‘muh principles’ crew that always cries about people like Ron Paul.
People’s principles or beliefs can be easily overridden by persuasion.

I've always been a right leaning libertarian. I don't have to take another test because I know thats where I'll end up.

Unfortunately most of these tests are push polls with questions designed to identify you are further to the left that you really are.

I've become slightly less libertarian since I first took this many years ago.

I couldn't make it past txhe first question.

quote:

If economic globalisation is inevitable,

Pass.

quote:

it should primarily serve humanity

Well. Yeah it should. But not through government regulation and who's to say transnational corporations can't serve humanity?

frick that entire questionnaire.

I tried to keep going:

quote:

No one chooses his or her country of birth, so it’s foolish to be proud of it.

I didn't choose my parents or my, family. I'm extremely proud of them.

And while I didn't choose my country, I do choose to keep living here.

Is it foolish to be proud of America? No. But not because you were born here. Would it be foolish to be proud of Saudi Arabia? Yes. No matter where you're born.

These questions are bullshite.

quote:

Because corporations cannot be trusted to voluntarily protect the environment, they require regulation.
