Okay im liking they are choosing Spidey to fill the Iron Man hole!

Setting up the multiverse means FF can't be far off.
Also we might see Peter taking the lead of the Avengers later on with how they keep saying he wants to be the next Iron Man

I love what they've done with Spider-Man. They have completely redeemed the character after those mediocre older movies.

Sony has to play along because this is the final movie in the Sony/Marvel agreement which allows Spiderman to be involved in the MCU. Holland has 1 more film on his Sony contract and unless something changes it will be 100% Sony produced.
