Yeah yeah Just Empty Every Pocket blah blah.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee has been improving every year. Not really interested in a truck because I don’t have anything to tow, and Jeeps get a little better gas mileage.

I had a 2014 Overland and loved it. I liked it so much I almost bought a Trackhawk but went with something else.

Have a 2012 and love it. Been waiting on the next iteration to get my next one, but doesn’t appear a body redesign is any time soon...

My wife has an Overland.

She loves it. I think it's whatever, I wouldn't buy one, but I'm sure many will like it for good reason.

If you’re buying new get a 4Runner or an Outback.

I used to have one a while back. Nice ride, but damn if it didn't have every problem in the book.

2012, so almost 8 yrs old.. but only 57k mi, since i’ve mostly had company cars as well in the time I’ve had the Jeep.

I love it, i only had a problem with the cellinoid (solenoid?) when i first got it, then not long ago cylinder 5 (i think) misfiring.. both fixed under warranty, manufacturer had actually extended the warranty because the cylinder misfire was common on this model.. so a couple minor problems, but i know people who’ve bought brand new BMWs and also Hyundais (off the top of my head) who’ve had plenty of major issues.

I like the GC because it has all the bells and whistles, but still has a very truck-like feel and look.. i have the Laredo X model, so leather seats, panoramic sunroof etc like a Limited but for less money.. also, it has things i didnt realize i needed- namely remote start, so i can turn it on a couple minutes before i get in and get the AC going in the summer.. i’d be likely to get another GC next time i buy.

Mrs. LSUwag has a 2011 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 that she absolutely loves. She refuses to part with it, even after I suggested she get a brand new one.

It has had its fair share of repairs but, nothing huge. It’s still a very reliable SUV that drives like its brand new. I’m honestly surprised how well it’s held up all these years.

I owned a 2011 that I got 4 years out of before the problems set in. Then made the mistake of trading for a 2015. The 15’ only made it about a year before a multitude of issues had me in shop so many times I got rid of it.
Never again....

Had a 2015 Overland 4x4 - it was as much of a dog as any vehicle I ever had. I guess they had a bad day at the factory that day. Couple the vehicle with gremlins and terrible dealer here, and I did not keep it long at all. Big problems were collision mitigation activating for no reason at speed, variable suspension modes sticking front wheels in lowered position and rears in highest as well as numerous issues with the infotainment system.

It was a nice looking vehicle, interior nicely done and comfortable and I did get a hell of a deal on it on a Jeep forum group buy, but I would never own again.

Wife owns a 2016... it is bad as HELL. Jeep acronym you stated earlier is solely due to wranglers so no worries there. It feels like a honda it is so well put together. Couldn't possibly recommend more highly.

Had a 2012 and really liked it. Had a recall issue that was frustrating but otherwise liked it. I probably won't buy another one but wouldn't knock them. It's a perfect "regular" sized SUV, had solid interior and has pretty good SUV bonafides.

As much as I prefer Toyota to Chrysler, 4Runner interiors have traditionally been embarrassing.
