But those jobs aren't coming back!

quote:

Why am I not seeing every single Dem giving credit to Obama and the American people on the economy every time it is brought up? I just saw on CNN that people are giving Trump 56% approval on his "handling of the economy." (Please. That's a push poll, most likely accidental, but a push poll. The question itself implies that Trump should get credit for the economy.)

We need to dispute that Trump deserves any credit–not question it, dispute it with complete self-assurance. We need to make it seem churlish, grasping, and arrogantly credit-grabbing for Trump to even suggest that he deserves any credit for Obama's economy. We shouldn't say, "Trump is 'forgetting' to credit Obama" or other forms of weak tea. We should say "It's Obama and the American people's economy. Trump can take credit for the weak-to-nonexistent gains in coal, steel, auto manufacturing, and the deep losses to rural communities thanks to his trade wars."

"What?, Does he have a magic wand?"

quote:

Currently, I'm seeing some of our folks trying to "pivot" on the question of the economy by saying un-useful things such as, "Americans are interested in issues other than the economy, like immigration, healthcare..." and so forth. That's not good; that's bad. Sure, by all means, pivot. But start with, "It's Obama's and the American People's economy, not Trump's. Trump's just putting his name on something he didn't have anything to do with again."

Truth, this one could be starting too accept it.

quote:

Sadly, that's not the case.

His approval ratings on the economy are in the 50s, with a 54% average.

That can't all be Trump's base, because there aren't enough of them.

Clever spin, but no one's buying it. They laughed out loud when Juan Williams tried to pitch it on "The Five".

Almost sounds like one of Slick Willie Clinton's slogans. LOL

I don't know how to characterize them other than simply pathetic.

Their hate has caused them to lose their minds.

Keep in mind that those people hate us with all their hearts.

Never relent on 2A. Never.

Literally last January 2018, all these fricking assholes abandoned taking credit to Obama because they thought the economy was faltering.

Now, they want credit again?

ROFLMAO

I fricking called it last January because I knew they were jumping the gun.

Dumb asses

Note how they never really address any policy or fundamental beliefs in their arguments. It's all about personality and propaganda.

The Jug Ears economy was several rounds of quantitative easing to prop up the stock market.

It's those deranged fools who are stupid.

1) Obama was anti-Energy

2) Obama did not cut regulations

3) Obama did not reduce taxes

4) Obama did not fight AGAINST bad trade deals

5) Obama did not fight FOR better trade deals

6) Obama never used tariffs or the threat of tariffs

7) Obama wanted to KILL the coal mining industry

8) Obama said Manufacturing jobs were NEVER coming back

9) Obama had 0% interest rates and it didn't help

10) Obama had QE and it didn't help

Other than that, yeah, the anti-American, race-baiting community agitator is 100% responsible for the economy we have ALMOST 2.5 YEARS AFTER HE CARRIED HIS SORRY arse OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE.

EDIT - I should probably go over there and create an account just so I could post this. They would just take it down and ban me, though.

It is perfectly logical the the first 8 years of Obama's shite economy was Bush's fault and the first 2 years of Trumps healthy economy are due to Obama moves during the 1st 8 years of Obama's shite economy that were Bush fault.

The math adds up!

Anytime anyone says that, remind them how Barry said the economy couldn't just be easily fixed and that certain jobs are never coming back. Now that both of those things are happening, the left AND even Obama himself are taking credit (and hoping no one remembers he said it was impossible).

I mean which is it? Were you wrong and Trump fixed it, or were you lying for some reason and knew that 2 years after you left office the impossible would happen?

Where are they differentiating between Obama and Trump? What standards and metrics are they using? Clearly it’s nothing more than arbitrary wishful thinking.

The ofher one i’ve heard is: “but it’s not sustainable growth, it’s like a doped racehorse: it wins and then immediately drops dead”

It is a lot of work to go over there and point out GDP, Job numbers, and consumer confidence numbers btw the 44 and 45. DU is just the sky screamers, and though not to be ignored...monitored. As responsible adults, it is out duty to make sure the children don't control the relationship.

I mean, frick, the idiots wont even acknowledge the record low unemployment rate.....ACROSS ALL DEMOGRAPHICS. but Trump is a racist.....bunch of dumbasses.

i'll say this again: if obama had policy x and the economy improved and trump has policy -x, then the economy should reverse, right? iow, trump's policies have been basically the exact opposite of obama's so, if obama improved the economy and trump took an exact opposite approach, then the economy should be faltering under trump.

libs can't have it both ways. the fact of the matter is trump reversed obama's policies and the economy improved almost immediately. moreover and much to 90proof's chagrin, obama was getting some pretty significant help in propping up his numbers whereas trump is not.
