So it’s AA’s fault?

I don’t think the court should decide who’s an alcoholic and who’s not. But they should invest in sending these people to professionals to make these decisions.

That’s why there are a good bit of meetings that are “closed”. Which means they don’t sign court slips at that meeting. AA doesn’t work for them because they don’t want to change or aren’t an alcoholic/addict.

Probably is one too.

If he’s trying to hide it from her, probably not. Alcoholics like to get self destructive together.

Again, you're not getting it. You're just not. While AA IS used within some sort of family court or plea deal, the judge isn't setting that parameter. They are simply signing off on the parameter an individual case by case length has been crafted. Moms and dads may add in 90 meetings in 90 days just so they can see their kids. Get it? DWI cases? Money grabs. Those classes cost money. aA is free.

I know you’re drunk now, but get in it man. I used to mock it as well, but it really does wonders for the lives of millions. You need it.

You are either extremely ignorant or an idiot. Alcoholism can’t be cured, simply treated.

If you were cured, you could go to dinner, have two drinks, and be done. True alcoholics can’t do that. Cured means you can act like everyone else. You can’t.

Sure. But the body is still going to react the same to alcohol, and the brain can easily be retired again. While people can change, they still cannot drink.

Right. Some people get it confused. Recovery or recovering is recovering from a hopeless state of mind. Not the Disease (I’m sure this will go over well) itself.

I used the word cured in response to another person. I don’t use that word, just simply say I have recovered.

Apologize for not clarifying
