The dumbest narrative in LSU fandom.

Actually a hot take
It’s Cain’s fault Mathis struggled at the plate & his fault pitchers have sore arms

What’s even funnier is neither Mathis nor Hughes (who isn’t a part of this recruiting class btw) started tonight and that only 2 pitchers (not 11) from this recruiting class has sore arms.

I was stating Cain is the recruiting coordinator

So you want a recruiting coordinator who is not allowed to recruit by NCAA rules?

Agh I guess he didn't see their "sore arm" stats in high school, that's on him

#1 recruiting class that brought us

Jaden Hill
Cole Henry
CJ Willis
Gio
Beloso
Bianco
Garza
Dugas
Marceux

That's a potential weekend rotation with 6 starters in it.

No I was answering the guy who was asking who the recruiting coordinator was.

I’m very satisfied with the results. I believe Cain and Dunn are doing great.

They don't understand can have only two paid assistants

The freshmen class is fine. LSU’s struggling because of the leaders right now.

It’s been repeated over & over & over in the post game threads when we lose along with the recent threads regarding the 3rd paid assistant vote

It shows they are just spewing shite to do it & do not actually follow the program

Fire who, Cain or Dunn?

Simple. Fire Cain and bring in a hitting coach/recruiting coordinator. It's not rocket science.

Nah Woodward needs to eliminate the problem and that starts at the top

Paul may ask Woodward for a bigger bus.

& who acts as hitting coach when said coach is out recruiting?
Because the board would be calling for their heads & saying they can’t do both jobs

You really want your athletic director telling his head coaches which assistants to hire?

This was the point CPM made on his weekly show when he was discussing the 3pd paid assistant failing

Point is one of the spots is typically a volunteer position
If you hire a recruiting / pitching or a recruiting / hitting coach his time is split between 2 job duties
The use of a volunteer hitting or pitching coach allows each to focus on their specific job

ETA
In no way do I think the hitting coach needs to be Ochinko next season, but I don’t agree with giving up Cain or Dunn for a paid “proven” hitting coach

Was it logical for CPM to bench the best hitter on the team?

Ok...in an ideal world we could keep Cain, Dunn, and hire a hitting coach...but we all saw how the vote went, and need to adapt. Cain does a great job of recruiting, but that dosent amount to much if we cant develop the guys we recruit. We need someone who can do both... that's just the reality of it. We cant keep pretending like this is acceptable

How long is it going to take for the rant to turn on Woodward? I say two years. I believe he will be way better than Alleva. But he is not going to clean house and hire all studs.
