He will, whether Paul likes it or not. Paul can stay as long as he wants—as long as he does things Woody’s way.

Nah Woodward needs to eliminate the problem and that starts at the top.

Yea I have to think there will be a fair evaluation of the baseball program at the end of the season.

It’s overdue quite frankly.

Who acts as recruiting coordinator?

ETA
Typically not a duty held by head coach

Cain

ETA: not saying fire Cain, I was stating Cain is the recruiting coordinator

Yes, fire the recruiting coordinator that just brought in the #1 class in the country.

Great idea!

I dk but these strings of horrible at bats and no fire has to end in so many games. How is it possible to have so many guys with such low batting averages in this kind of program?

I like CPM so this is hard for me to say but you may be right. You can't have a generalist or a program manager/administrator for head coach in college baseball.

It's because of the paid coach restrictions. The fact the expansion just failed again and I think they can't bring it up for another two years, may spell the end of CPM.

With only three paid positions your head coach has to be a specialist in one of the three big areas: recruiting, hitting, pitching.

You can't afford to waste one of your paid positions on the baseball version of Dabo Swinney/Ed Orgeron

#1 recruiting class that is 27-16, that has Hughes and Mathis as regular starters.

#1 recruiting class with 11 sore arms.

Considering the situation and point of the season this is Easily the worst loss. Just like with Miles he had done some great things but it was time then and it’s time now. He has to go! No more forcing him to upgrade the staff. Please make the change Mr. Woodward!

Actually a hot take
It’s Cain’s fault Mathis struggled at the plate & his fault pitchers have sore arms
