You poor man.

West coasters and northerners don't eat biscuits. They much prefer English muffins or dry toast.

You guys keep saying the Mason-Dixon line but as someone who grew up on it I find most southerners don't think states like West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Kentucky, and Missouri are Southern. Also to add to that Northerners don't consider these states to be Northern either.

All those states are completely or the vast majority of them are located below the Mason-Dixon line.

I have lived in the North, South, East & West...I am not a southerner or northerner, I am an American. I only call out the Mason Dixon Line as a geographical location and nothing more. As far as I am concerned Mass. & NYC are south of me.

Why does everyone act like this is only a problem expect in their home state?

Drivers suck arse everywhere.

I agree that they suck everywhere. But come on up and take a little stroll down I5 from Corvallis to Portland. You know how most the time people will get over when you are behind them in the left lane. Yeah, that doesn't happen here. When it does I want to roll down my window and shake their hand.

Me too. I'd gladly never spend another day in the South June through September. The weather is fine the rest of the year.

I've had that issue in every single state I've driven in. The only thing that tends to be different is the quality of the actual roads.

Ain’t nothing to do with AZ and everything to do with the west in general being better.

And I would rather be childless than move back to the South.

Most people don't understand but there are places for some individuals where they thrive because their mental, physical and spiritual well being is enhanced, and it's where they belong. I would be content to never leave SE Ak again. I've done enough travelling, this is home.

I went back to La for a short time about 15 years ago and was miserable.

The pussies in Oregon aren't allowed to pump their own gas.

So what happens if I get out of my car and start pumping my gas? Or do they have some sort of control that only an attendant can access? Weird.

As a Louisianian, we have our problems, but I can’t leave. I love to visit other places, but this is home. Ride or die.

You get threatened. My brother went up on a business trip. Got out of his car and started pumping. The gas attendant came sprinting out of the station screaming at him to stop.

I had some foreign guy freak out on me for pumping my own gas in New Jersey about 10 years ago

I just drove through New Jersey. Stopped for a coffee and thought I’d go ahead and fill the tank while I was stopped. Then I remembered it’s full service and said screw it. I’ll fill up now that I’m in Pennsylvania.
