Had the same happen to me about 15 years ago; the guy did not scream but made it clear I was not qualified to pump gas. Same thing happened in NJ last year; he stopped me and we looked at each other like we thought the other one was crazy.
I thought I had heard that Oregon changed their law recently.

Just recently moved back to the nola area because after 3 decades of being away, I just missed it too much. Gonna die there.

It changed for rural towns but not for the bigger cities. Filled up the tank today. Well, someone else filled up my tank today.
