Storms tearing across Texas early Wednesday dumped heavy rain on the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, stranding motorists in the Dallas suburb of Carrollton and contributing flooding at a parking garage at Dallas' Love Field Airport.

Drainage issues near a parking garage at the airport combined with more than 3 inches of rain that fell overnight at the airport led to flooding at the garage, where dozens of vehicles were parked, KTXA reported.

Images posted to social media show cars submerged by at least 3 to 4 feet of water.

My boss stormed into my office Monday afternoon. "can you take me to Love Field, lost track of time and I won't have time to park and all that"
So I took him to the airport. He flies back tomorrow.

Could have been him.

Yeah that storm blew through here last night - I had water blowing through my front door - its solid wood and the wind was blowing water through is I was amazed - not around it through the freaking wood.

It looked like a freaking hurricane out there.

Love's parking is inviting this pretty heavily. 4-5 stories with ramps that just dump water straight down. then the bottom is barricaded off to stop any runoff. makes a bowl.

i live half way between Dallas and Austin so i usually have to pick which flight works better for me... and i really hate it when it's Love because of the parking.
