Were you raised in BR? Because if not they might cut you a little slack for being unaware of this.

Oh, so then you’re trolling...? I kinda figured that was what you were up to.

Since I moved to Missouri, I have seen more Rebel flags than I ever saw living in Louisiana.

I don’t believe you. I live in the LP. I do a numerous amount of work in the LP. I drive throughout this parish daily. I hardly ever see a Confederate flag. I bet I could count on 1 hand how many I see in a week.

No, frick you

Many people flooded in 2016 that had never flooded before. 32" of rain in 36 hours will do that.

Consider yourself fortunate you didn't have to endure losing everything you own.

This almost sounds like the life story of an infamous poster here.

Same here and I’ve been living here for 7 years and I’ll see one every now and then. I believe the OP is full of shite

There’s a car dealership in Cobb County GA and the entire lot is surrounded by numerous Conferderate Flags. You wouldn’t find that here

My real estate agent tried to get me to move to LP with a 45 min commute, made her show me homes/neighborhoods closer to work. "I'm not comfortable selling you a home in this area". 6 months later, her house gets 6 feet of water, mine is high and dry. Flipped it and sold it that August for almost double what I paid to a mixed race Nurse.

You do realize lots of people here were affected by the floods, right? Jesus

Let’s have some examples for you: Let’s say you decide to fly an Antifa flag in your yard. I tell you that it offends me and I think you need to take it down. Do you take the flag down?

I would hope so. Same goes for any flag that was related to inciting violence.

Or maybe I noticed that you put plastic bottles in the garbage instead of the recycling bin and I start bashing you all over town. We then decide to march on your house and tell you to change your environmentally unfriendly ways. How does that make you feel? Do you tell us to mind our own business?

Are you familiar with the numerous logical fallacies? Please google them. Ask yourself which one this fits in best. Because this post makes no sense.

Now I'm not one to interject, question ones freedoms and right of expression but I am fairly sure they know and welcome the disgust these symbols represent and the reactions it might conjure up for a big part of the population

It's only because of ignorance, that people conjure up these reactions. Ask yourself why people still get so bent out of shape over something that happened 150 years ago.

quote:

t's just not right to display that flag

Fortunately you and other ignorant fools don't get to make those decisions.

It's better to provoke than to appease. When people are uncomfortable, their true character is exposed.

Chaos...the unlikely bringer of balance.
