GOT: Whole Segment was rushed

The Rescue Of Yara...
Overall the first episode was a good one, but I wasn't happy with how they handle the rescue of Yara...This segment was rushed. You have a brief rescue attempt that goes flawless, then then next minute Yara and Theon are sailing home with here looking all cleaned up and no wear for the worse. Yara was in way too good of shape.

Good...aside from the Iron Islands being a fall back option to save humanity, that whole storyline sucks.
ETA: The NK on a Dragon gives zero fricks about a water barrier.

The one thing I do not like about the shortened seasons is the compressed time frame. Cuts between scenes can be weeks or months.

I dont Mindnit being rushed as much as I mind The lead up in seasons past being a waste of time.
Like I dint Give 2 fricks about Yara.
But it’s annoying that they wasted so much time setting up Theon for redemption to just like blow through itnin 3 minutes

Didn’t mind it. Happy to not waste time on that storyline.

I thought it was fine. No need to waste time on that story. By far the worst part of the episode was the dragon watching them make out. Felt so out of place

Agreed. LOTS of filler since season 4, especially since they’ve gone off book. Seems like they’ve just stopped giving two fricks about time warping also.
I’m still watching though. I liked last weeks show. No complaints from me.

People complain that the show wastes too much time on set up but when it speeds things up people get mad all over again.
