Can’t reveal my sources but spoke with somebody very close to the TAF board last night—highly unlikely that Alleva or Alexander will be around in the fall according to him. Interesting this comes up today. Lotta of smoke coming from this wood pile.

I said this over a week ago. Alleva, according to someone who I know that is very well connected with LSU, is gone.

Oh Lord. Also nothing against Verge. But getting rid of the incompetent bureaucrat who moves the stapler from one side of the desk to the other for a guy connected to the most corrupt political machine in the state? Sounds very LSU-ish. I want Alleva gone as much as the next guy, but if the plan is to replace him with a Morial, I don't know that that's an improvement.

For years people have been pumping Verge to get a shot at AD. They find out this morning his wife is a Morial and now that’s the reason not to have him. I didn’t want him to be permanent AD ever but people here are just so disingenuous

What political hack crony are we going to hire as our next AD? I read something where Lipsey wanted to bring back Skip Bertman as an interim, but Skip wasn't much, if at all better, than Alleva.
