Fargas to interview for Tennessee

Wow, talk about trading bad for bad. Warlick had to go but it sounds like this search is beyond tragic. Early talk about Walz from Louisville expressing interest but probably a ruse to get a raise.
The other names in the tweet are Kara Lawson (no college coaching experience but LV legend and well known commentator), Fargas (nuff said), Kellie Harper (LV, current MO State coach with a lifetime .578 record), Amanda Butler (fired from long term gig with Florida, now with Clemson .588 record). Of these, Fargas has the best total .629 and two S16s to Harper's one, albeit this year. Said to be 6-8 names on the list. If this is the best on the list, I'd hate to see the others.

Nikki would be an upgrade for Tennessee but that is not saying much considering Holly was trash

Tennessee is in a really bad situation with the other coaches buyout. They won't get anyone great unless they open up the checkbook. If not they will have to resort to those people on paper or someone else from a mid major. They really don't have many options and have had many turn down the job already that they wanted.

Warlick was reportedly making $665K to Fargas' $700K. Depending on how much your AD is willing to spend, if she bolts for Tennessee, LSU might be in a similar situation. Fargas has apparently burnt so many bridges that people will be happy to see her leave on any level but then you have to worry about what comes next, as Tennessee is already doing.
