New to craft beer. I've tried Lazy Magnolia (Mississippi) and Lost Forty (Arkansas). What are some other ones? I'm looking at trying Abita next.

Ozark and Lost Forty are the best readily available Arkansas brands in the southern half. Diamond Bear and Core are readily available but not as good imo. I rarely get above Little Rock

Southern Craft beers or southern craft beers?

Bentonville Natural State Porter, Ozark Beer Company Onyx Coffee Stout are solid. Diamond Broadway Haze and Ozark IPA are damn good. Brewers out of Tulsa, Prairie and American Solera are great. Although you would have to go to American Solera's tap room to buy their stuff to go.

Arkansas just picked up Toppling Goliath. Not a southern brewery but make good craft beer.

Wiseacre from Memphis is available in NE AR and is very good. Their Ananda IPA is very good as is their award winning Tiny Bomb Pilsner. They are exploding all over the mid south right now.

My question exactly!
If it's good Southern Craft beers, the answer is none.
As for southern craft beers, my favorite in recent history is still Paradise Lost from southern prohibition. Aside from your classic Ghost in the Machine, I really enjoy the Bloom from Parish as well.

Im not an Abita hater, but there are much better options for craft beers these days.
In your area, I would look for Southern Prohibition (Mississippi), Parish (LA) or great raft (north LA) beers if available. Other than sopro, Mississippi is behind the craft beer game and the other good LA breweries may not be available in your area.
Lost Forty is the best Arkansas beer ive had. Their trash panda ipa is solid. Also, the BBQ at their brewery is seriously legit

Hearing good things about the new brewery in Shreveport...I can't remember the name. Also Flying Tiger Brewery out of Monroe.

Yes. I saw it in Hot Springs a couple years ago.

Great Raft Grace N Grit is one of the best damn beers I’ve ever had. Made right in Shreveport. They definitely sell in Arkansas.
