Fort Livingston. An abandoned coastal defense fortification on Grand Terre across Barataria Pass from Grans Isle.

Supposedly haunted and cursed. Bad things are supposed to happen to those who go.

Learned that from Swamp People. Jeromy and David went there and their boat unexplainably broke down. Then after a while it cranked and worked just fine. Then they were let go from the show.

Isn't there an old military base near Alexandria where there are now concrete roads running through completely over grown forrest? I've heard it is or was cool.

The Greenwell Springs Hospital grounds used to be pretty creepy. Last time I was in town I think they were being bulldozed though

what you're talking about is Camp Claiborne...drove through there a long time ago and the layout could readily be seen

Last time I went into Fort Livingston a cow came running out of one the galleries and scared the crap out if me. About 20years ago. My Mom and Dad lived at the end of Grand Isle. One my girlfriends and I used to go to the Fort to bang while visiting the folks.

I remember going to an old abandoned water treatment plant in the late eighties/early nineties in Westwego. Local kids called it the Org. Pretty cool and creepy.

Been through it several times and have looked around a bit. There are still areas with UXO signs, but I've never found them.
