I'm 12 years out and I just found out this morning the 4th person in my high school class died of a drug overdose. (fentanyl)

I went to a Louisiana 5A public school

- 4 drug overdoses
- 2 suicides
- Valedictorian is partner at Apollo Managament (Private Equity)
- 2 became professional athletes (NFL & NBA)
- 90% stayed in Louisiana
- Richest people
- Started a construction company
- Invested in bitcoin when it was low
- Married into a rich family where the dad is worth 100+ million
- Hottest girl got pregnant the year after graduation & ended up getting divorced

thats pretty par for the course. some people succeed some people marry into success and some people fail miserably.

I’m around 20 years out and keep up with literally (yes I know what that word means) zero people from high school.

I don't keep up with them, but I don't think anyone died. I'm pretty sure I would have heard about that. I know a few of them battled cancer, though.

I don't have Facebook so I have no idea what anyone is doing these days. But I went to school in Tipton County, Tennessee so I'd guess most of them are married/divorced with multiple children (class of 2007)

One death that I’m aware of so far. She had a severe form of diabetes that she’s had ever since she was 6. Really sad. There are a few that I have no idea where they are, which makes it possible.

A lot are doctors and attorneys. One died of suicide. One died in a car accident. One died of cancer.

I think most turned out to be decent citizens. Nobody in jail, that I know of.

I’m 26 and everyone’s still alive as far as I know. So not too bad I guess

This is a very New Orleans-esque thread.

Just about everyone in my class is successful except for a poli board poster, whose handle initials are "ST"

I don't keep up with most of them. I graduated 23 years ago at this point and I don't do Facebook. We've had a number of overdoses too.

Probably around the same as yours. After deleting my Facebook in 2017 I stopped caring tbh.

like 98% of my communication with high school friends is in the form of a fantasy football league

actually works pretty well

"how are the kids"

"great, you"

"all good here, I need a WR"

Not sure. I don't have Facebook

When I did have Facebook, the only thing I noticed was that everyone was extremely political and childish.

I think we only have had 1 fatality. '05 CHS so obviously we are all doing well for ourselves.

Did you ask every single person? If not, this would be libelous statement, and I no longer care about your post.
