Considering there are still FKing/Alleva apologists populating this board, "every 5 minute" reminders may well not be enough.

Wait, he’s a POS, but Wade is wise and noble? I am not saying either is correct, but as a fan base we need to take a position and stick with it. Either all should be burned as we keep suggesting other coaches should, or none should without proof as we suggest with Wade. I haven’t heard the Pearl FBI tape yet. Does one exist?

Just seems like we want our guy to be reinstated when he’s on tape, but we complain that other coaches are still coaching with no tape.

And nobody, and I mean nobody, on this site ever came to Pitino’s defense during his firing.

ETA:

I have not read the transcript of the Pearl FBI recording. Does one exist?

Again, Auburn learned how to work the system from their big brother in Tuscaloosa.

LSU, for all intents and purposes, are still very much rookies when it comes to bending rules and getting caught, especially when you compare them to other SEC schools.

With Alabama, then Auburn, being the two schools put on probation the most in the SEC, I think it is fair to say Auburn has learned their lesson.

Wade messed up.
Aleva messed up.
Get over it.
The trial is coming and the chips will fall. LSU fans have more class than Auburn. Remember, they let sCAM NEWTON play without any repurcussions.

Auburn and Alabama do not allow their compliance departments to run the show. If they get out of line they get taken care of.

Oh really? Can you link the full transcript? All I’ve seen is a few purported quotes in some poorly written articles. Articles that admit the rookie minimum comment was a joke and that no monetary offers were made so there’s no direct violation.

You must be 12 years old if you believe this.

The LSU haters want to hold tight to the salacious parts of Pat Forde's hit piece in Yahoo Sports but they never want to quote the part of the article were Pat Forde gives himself plausible deniability in case of a libel lawsuit.

quote:

The tape does not reference any specifics about the “offer,” if the particulars of the “offer” violated NCAA rules, if the player and/or his mother ever knew of the “offer” or if anyone accepted whatever the “offer” was.

Daily reminder that Bruce Pearl wasn't stupid enough to be caught on an FBI wiretap of making what appears to be an offer of illegal inducements to put Auburn in a position to excercise institution control.

exactly. This board is hypocritical, because it would be DESTROYING Will Wade if he coached at Bama, Florida, UK, etc. This board would be screaming, calling him a cheater and demanding he be fired.

But Wade wears P&G so it's all good.

Hypocrites, all.
