How early can you get tested for fibromyalgia?

I don’t believe there is a test for that.

My cousin has fibromyalgia and if you could see it first hand you’d believe it was a real disease. Sometimes he runs out of medicine and he’s miserable. He gets nauseous and can barely get out of bed, cold sweats, the works. It really is a terrible disease

. Not attacking your cousin because honestly I don’t know anything about the disease. But the symptoms you described fit a lot of things including a junky who goes too long without a fix.

Unfortunately all doctors are just in it for the money and when my sick cousin begs them for more medicine they only try to sell him on expensive mris and surgery or worthless injections

My favorite is asking patients if they have end stage fibro.

It sounds like you are. I hope you never get a debilitating disease like fibromyalgia. How come people who take drugs like Tylenol or aleve are ok but people with real chronic pain diseases are labeled and marginalized?
