I mean I want it to be true, but come on.

I do too, but this is actually how rumors get spread so quickly and globally these days. One unverified report gets made, others read it and parrot the same. In today's hot take media coverage where being first is more important than things being true, all too often do completely untrue stories make their rounds before they're put to bed for being completely false. Like others, I want to believe it's true, but I'm not going to hold by breath until we something more than some random tweets.

The key word here is "unreasonably." Any attorney worth a shite could make a very compelling argument that refusing to meet with a third party regarding information which Wade has been subpoenaed to testify on is grounds to reasonably refuse to meet.

Again, that pesky "reasonably" word.

(1) "Reasonably"
(2) Has there been any official investigation?

Has it been confirmed that Wade committed violations? If so, you wouldn't have spent so much effort pointing to these other "causes."

This would have to be a play involving Gov Honor Code, and I just don't see that happening, unless his political backers are pressuring him to make a move.

Well, he is up for re-election, and the sheer number of scandals happening at LSU right now are hard to ignore. And since one of his biggest dudes has gone scorched earth on the LSU admin and athletic departments...I'd say it's very possible.

WAFB actually reported on Lipsey's manifesto.

Do you try to be this difficult 100% of the time? No one is questioning the contract has the aforementioned language. What people are questioning, and rightfully so, is if Wade's actions have constituted a breach based on the language in those provisions. Why don't you address what's actually been posted as it pertains to the specific language instead of crawfishing? It's not a breach, per the provisions in that contract, if his actions aren't viewed as unreasonable or if the breach isn't viewed as material. It's also not a breach not to report violations that may or may not have actually occurred. The problem with you is you ignore words like material, reasonable, written notice, and violations as if they don't exist or serve no purpose in those provisions. Ignoring such verbiage is a quick way to find yourself in the middle of a litigation.

He knows this. That's his MO. Come into a thread, drop a contrarian position, then make vague posts without defending said position.

Hannigrif and Ott threw cold water on it. They wont comment on a rumor.

I guess you can take that with a grain of salt taking into account the relationship between Guaranty Broadcasting and LSU.

Only one who may comment on it is Moscona, since he’s basically given up on the administration giving him interviews like Off the Bench gets

Oh, I'm aware, he finds something to contradict whatever the topic of the day is and then makes a hot take to rile up the board. The problem with Lester is, when finds out he was wrong or somewhat mistaken, he never concedes he was or even attempts to have a discussion on the counter-arguments made to his position. He just spins and deflects without ever admitting he's possibly put the horse before the cart. I mean I've gone against the grain plenty of times on this board but I try to back up my position with reasonable arguments and try to concede points I may have been wrong about when presented with counter-points.

But a Yahoo Report, with a selective portion of a wire tap transcript is enough to fire a coach?

When did Wade get fired? Last time I checked he was suspended until he met with the administration.

@valleyshook
Seems like suspending Wade was enough to piss off a bunch of folks in various state offices, and now all of LSU's dirty laundry is coming out over the last couple of days.

You know, not anger over the actual corruption, just over suspending a basketball coach
