If the AD decides to make a decision based on teh recommendation of the Compliance department, that's still a decision the AD makes. He cannot hide behind the compliance department.
The current predicament is that the NCAA is on campus and closely monitoring this situation. If LSU goes against the recommendation of the compliance department, it would look really bad to the NCAA.
LSU is scared to death of getting the dreaded “lack of institutional control” penalty.

'm sorry, but I'm going to need a bit more context as to HOW the Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Women's sports would wield so much power over the men's basketball team and presumably, the Athletic Director? If these comments are to be believed (and I'm not sure they are) then LSU's athletic dept and administration as a whole is in complete and utter fricking shambles. This is the equivalent of a mid-level manager directing how the CEO handles business with one of his vice-presidents. Something isn't adding up here
have you checked the news recently. a women pushing people around, regardless of the validity of her opinion, is not a big surprise.

Segar is the person responsible for Akiem Hicks never playing football at LSU, and Bahnsen has been a know it all twirp ever since his days as a manager for the men's basketball team

What would this meeting even accomplish at this point? No way he gets reinstated after last week's press releases.
Both sides need to just shut up and let the trial play out, see what else comes to light, and go from there.

Apparently Miriam takes her stop work authority very seriously.

his must be understood in context, which is that Will Wade had laid down the law that either Miriam Segar had to go or he would,
What's the beef here?

We invited them here in an effort to get brownie points.
They didn't just show up asking to interview Wade.

Scott McKay also said Alleva was going to retire this year. Still waiting on that.

I can guarantee you the Alabama compliance department is not this awful.

Call Scott McKay what you want. But I don’t see much wrong with what he did when he became persona non grata at LSU. He wasn’t posi tiger enough and got banned from campus back in the day.
This is complete bull. Scott sold his business because he made several dumb business and personal decisions, none of which involved his relationship with LSU.
When you are cutting checks your employees can’t cash, that is not an LSU relationship issue.

This is where a good AD would say, "Compliance, you play a critical role in our commitment to win with integrity, and within the rules. At this time we are not aware of any rule violations, so for now, you guys can get fricked."

She's not even in the compliance department anymore. Why's she getting the heat from this?
I don’t know, but today was certainly not the first time her name has been brought up in the context of the Will Wade situation.

also who is Bo Bahnsen and am i supposed to hate him as well?
He is a dickhead who works for LSU Compliance. His wife is/was golf coach. Nothing like nepotism in the Athletic Department.
Here's his ugly arse and bio: LINK
