So much pain, body stressed, complete gastric emptying (both ways), yet you are not "sick" in the classical sense. No sore throat, no cough, no fever. Never dealt with this before. Weird stuff. I'm at day 2.5, any idea when this will pass?

Day 2.5? You sure it’s just food poisoning? The only time I’ve ever had it, all symptoms passed after the first clear out. I’m no doctor though.

Sounds like you need to go to the hospital and get some IV fluids. Dehydration is no joke.

i have had food poisoning or the stomach flu twice. it was intense hell for 12 hours, then a day of lethargy (due to having nothing to fuel my body and it not being ready to eat yet) and then a day of feast

I had some sort of stomach flu once. Just diarrhea but I almost got forced to the hospital. It got to the point where my butt felt like I had stuffed a thousand habereno peppers up it going to the bathroom was so miserable.

I was so dehydrated despite drinking a ton. I even went to the urgent care place and they’re like “you have 6 hours to get better or go to hospital.” So I j drank like a lake of Gatorade and water.

You've never had bad gas or diarrhea? You're sick then, with no fever, sore throat or congestion. You're acting like this is the first time you have been in gastrointestinal distress.

I had it several years ago, i believe it was from a pizza i grabbed while working.

I lost 12 lbs of water weight in 3 1/2 days. I could not eat or drink, because anything in, came out both ends. If i went to hospital, no doubt they would of had me onan IV, i was dehydrated, but i could not do anything about it, i didn't want to have the runs no more. I layed in bed all 4 days, trying to sleep, so my body would slow down and the squirts and vomit would stop. It didn't.

My arse was so raw from wiping, that i literally prayed that i would puke bile, rather than have the squirts and have to wipe. Was absolutely horrendous.

sitting on toilet shitting, while also leaning over the tub dry heaving bile. ugh!

I had it for about 9 hours and it was pure hell.

If you're on day 2.5, you should probably get to a hospital.

Mine lasted about 6 hours. 2.5 days seems pretty serious

That is long enough that you need to see a Dr. you likely need a banana bag.

I was lucky the one case I had lasted about 6 hours. Mine was so intense I went to the ER (and avoid Drs like the plague) and as soon as I get into the treatment area my symptoms subsided. Worst foldover and want to scream cramps I could imagine.

I heard from a friend your body doesn’t digest pepper. That’s why it’s so hot when you shite. I should probably look this up before touting it as fact, but I won’t.

This was my mistake, not going, i didn't want to move, in fear of not being able to make it to a restroom.

Same. Each time I’ve had it, it usually lasts around 12 hours. The strangest thing is that I usually throw up every hour almost down to the minute. It’s become a psychological mindfrick each time I get sick.
But 2.5 days is cause for alarm.

You need an IV. Drink chicken broth and eat white rice and bananas and toast.

I had it bad a few years ago. I was sick for around 12 hours. I couldn't keep anything down, including water. I ended up having to be taken to the hospital and put on an IV for 3 days.
