Adults that are picky eaters

This boggles my mind. Irritating to go somewhere and see a grown up ordering a dish and then telling the server to tell the chef to put this and that on the side or having them run through all ingredients and when they say something they aren’t familiar with going "indunno if I’ll like that can you leave it out" . Be an adult and eat it. Trust the chef instead of acting like a damned 5 year old.

Are you really that upset over what people eat?

That thread sparked it but it’s a different topic so made a different thread. I don’t get it. Adults scared to try new food because "they might not like it".

I don’t get it either, but you do you and let them do them.

frick off, if I don’t like something I’m not gonna eat it just because I should trust the chef. frick off

I have seen adult picky eaters turn into non-picky eaters at the hunting camp. They didn’t have much choice.

The little bitches that will disagree with this are the ones that go to a seafood or steak place and get chicken strips/nuggets or a cheese burger.
Fricking grow up

Or jail.

Why don’t you grow up and stop letting what other people eat bother you. And no I’m not one of the chicken nugget orderers.

I'm picky, but I will try new things for the most part. Doesn't mean I will like them though

Most upscale places around here specifically say on the menu no substitutions.
I don't mind people who are just picky. Most places anymore have options for everyone. The two that annoy the frick out of me the most are the "it has to be gluten-free" when they don't have a gluten allergy or sensitivity somewhere that would clearly NOT be gluten-free OR if you insist on being an arse at someone's celebration dinner because they didn't pick somewhere YOU would rather eat.

The 15 year old with a neck tat in the back needs to know if you want a pickle or mustard or not.

Umm, frick off? If I'm paying for it, I'm customizing it if I want to. And if there's some weirdo ingredient and I'm hungry, I want it taken out and not risk it ruining my dish.

Mind your own damn business nerd.

Unless they are expecting a party host to make something just for them to cater to their pickiness, who the frick cares?

I'm a picky eater, and agree with you. I've never been to a restaurant where I couldn't find something I'll eat.
