I worked a little on my first car. Changed the radiator out, added a CAI, Headlights, etc.

Now I own a fancy car and not worry about fixing shite

I do everything that I can myself... Regardless of how wealthy I am, I can't fathom paying someone over $100 to change my brakes

YouTube has everything you need to fix any problem with your vehicle as long as you have the proper tools.

If my arse can replace a u-joint, anyone can

I still change my brake pads.

Fck changing my own oil. I get discounts and such most of the time that makes it cheaper than doing it myself.

other then the basic oil changes, filter, maybe an O2 sensor, or the belts, there is not much you can do any more

its ok if you choose not to, but if you "cant" change your own damn oil you aint a man

I do pretty much all of it. Oil, brakes, fluids, etc, but I've also replaced starters, exhaust manifolds, idler pulleys, o2 sensors, and installed some basic stereo upgrades.

I enjoy it, but I also know who's at fault if something doesn't work right.

Learning currently.

I suck at this stuff but with YouTube I’m learning.

Have changed our theromostat, battery, alternator, of course tires and lights, some minor cosmetic stuff. It’s fun and saves a ton of money.

Not as much as when I had my Jeep but I do whatever I can. Most of my tool are in storage in Colorado. It pains me to take my car in to have work done.

Don't work on any of our daily driver's, but do enjoy turning a wrench on my weekend cruiser. It has never left me stranded.

I’ll change my wiper blades and can do emergency maintenance as needed (flat tire, blown fuse, etc). Beyond that, I can’t be bothered if it can be avoided.

You don't know true stank until you have smelled old used dinosaur (Not Synthetic) rear end oil.
