The good part of Baton Rouge wants to distance itself from the shitty part of Baton Rouge by creating its own city.

In short, the unicorporated part of Baton Rouge wants to become it's own city. Just like Central and just like Zachary.
The opponents portray it was the proposed city of St. George is "leaving" Baton Rouge. That's simply not true as there is nothing to "leave". St. George is not part of BR City
