It's a shame the LSU/Florida game isn't close to a sellout

The phrase gets overused, but its true in this case. This team deserves a sellout crowd.

- 1st place in the SEC
- Serious final four contender
- Big name opponent
- 6:00pm game, so its not too late
- weather forecast for game time is 62 degrees and cloudy. Not too hot. Not too cold.
- LSU selling Chic-fil-a so you can eat decent food at the game

The normal excuses do not apply. Get to the PMAC tomorrow night.

There will be a good crowd. The energy is returning.

You can mark this off your list of worries

Not sure what point is trying to be made?

Also I'll be at the game and 6pm games suck

It’s not too late but it is too early. I live in New Orleans and there’s no way I could get there from work by 6:00.

I’m not complaining, just giving perspective of why some might not be able to attend.

As a parent with two kids in school I understand the difficulty a weeknight game presents. Particularly at 6:00. You essentially have to alter your weekday routine to make it to the game. Luckily, I can do that. But not all can or want to.

Plus, it's very difficult for many people outside of BR and the metro area to make a 6:00 weekday game.

That's where the students have to carry the water along with BR/metro folks. Out of the roughly ~30k students at LSU you mean to tell me at least 3k-5k can't make the game? Even if some have to buy a ticket?

Combine that with a metro area of ~500k and it seems almost implausible that LSU can't get at least 10k-11.5k in the seats.

6 pm games blow.

My dad and brother both live in BR and go to most games but they won’t make it until half time because of work.

ETA:

This work/traffic issue should not affect students though. What will be their excuse?

Some blame LSU's basketball attendance problems on the grey hairs.

Go figure.

I always like seeing these threads bc the excuse for years was" if you win they will come." Well it sure feels like we are winning. Most dont remember even how good the crowd was at times even during brady ball era. Heck we sucked the year after the final four. Brady got fired and we still packed the pmac against Tennessee who was highly ranked. I had tickets in the last row of the arena and the crowd was rocking for a team with losing record.

I know this is a bad example but our arena should be rocking no matter who we play here on out this season.

I don’t think you can be a serious contender until you reach the elite 8.

Ill give my reason.
I split season tickets with a coworker.
This is his game. I dont want to spend over $30 for 2 tickets to sit in the upper part of the uppers when i can see it much clearer on tv
