Yeah but it's all under the table so it's okay.

Anyone that’s ever paid any attention to the youth group leaders already knew this.

Shocking, pedos are attracted to areas where they have trust and access to children........

My Baptist school had a bible teacher while i was there that mysterious announced that he was going on “missionary in a foreign country that would
Make him impossible to contact even via email.”
I always thought that was a bit fishy. I mean where they frick was his mission, North Korea. I always assumed he got caught doing something the school was trying to keep quite. He was one the wannabe cool teachers that had a sinful teenage life but found god.

I guess that’s the part of the catechism they kept.

Kind of ironic to tout a list of people charged and convicted of the crimes they committed in comparison to Catholics, isn’t it? I mean, isn’t a big part of the problem the fact that the Catholic Church has protected pedophiles, homosexuals, and abusers for decades, and continues to do so?

Can't possibly be true...here in the bible belt, they tell me that only catholic clergy do such shite. no way Baptists would ever do such a thing!

It's a terrible thing but I just don't see it as a bombshell. The indictment of the SBC is basically that they didn't compile a list of these people?

You kick that strawman’s arse Seabass! The big difference is the church hierarchy and clergy having the money, power, and level of depravity to cover up the crimes, protect the criminals, and victimize other innocent children in doing so. But you knew that, didn’t you?

Add Music Minister/Associate Pastor sleeping with a praise team leader to the list too ...

They probably should, just to protect their members from hiring them somewhere else in the future. If these criminals were smart, they’d convert to Catholicism. They defend them, shield them, pay off their victims, often thoughtfully provide more victims, and if you’re sick enough, you might just land a job at the Vatican.
