Unless U Club got some type of waiver, all off duty jobs are required a 4 hour minimum even if they only work 10 minutes.
They’re also paying him $35/hour.

I agree. It’s like if FaceBook was wide open, and you were automatically friends with everyone within 5 miles of you. Trashy and all.

So because of how hard it is to leave the neighboorhood it’s ok bring traffic to a stop (which in turns causes traffic but the dumb fricks who live in U Club don’t care) to allow said people to leave their neighborhood? Makes sense......not. And before someone brings up safety and being able to leave their neighborhood safely, brining traffic to a complete stop suddenly when people are going 55+ isn’t safe at all.

Seems to me what makes the most sense is installing a frickin’ three way traffic light right in front of U Club. This solution appears pretty obvious but it would have to pass through the “good ole boy network” which might be a problem unless the right corrupt scumbags are getting a big enough payoff. I love Louisiana but as a whole, the politicians are a bunch of fricksticks.

UClub said they tried to do this but DOTD refused.
I'm shocked they can get anyone to take that traffic detail. It just seems like a disaster waiting to happen.
Also, UClub deserves full blame for all of this for constructing a 700 house neighborhood with one fricking exit.

Apparently they will have another exit on bluebonnet once the new development is built. It seems really entitled to think your morning commute is more important than others that you have traffic stopped so you can leave in the morning.

The gender studies op ed journalist. It’s the most important profession in all mankind.

Is there any chance that Uclub residents could pay a cop to direct traffic at Nicholson and Brightside?

That's a trick question, everybody knows the coked up dentist who tries to live like a surgeon should always be at the top of the pyramid.

Don’t move in a neighborhood with that many houses and 1 entrance

BR fricking LOVES those single entrances for major neighborhoods. it's so stupid. this thread shows why

They're tying into the entrance for The Preserve....
eventually

$35 an hour
And what's to stop Lexington from doing the same thing.
How is it legal to stop traffic on a major state highway to let a subdivision out?

This is why you check the commute before buying a house.

BR was never known for proper planning before development.

There needs to be a local ordinance.
Any development should have a maximum number of lots per exit.
Say 200 lots one exit
200--400 Two exits
400-600 three
Etc.
