re: Anyone else love Coach McMahon wearing the suit tonight?

He’s worn a suit all season. What’s better than a suit is people actually going to the games to see him in that suit.

The kid was at STM previously and was kicked out... There are some adults at fault for allowing this turd back in STM after being kicked out and having problems at other schools.

Are there any family pics of Kibblz with the 4th child that she gave back?

SGS win that bitch?
They won the consolation bracket in 8th and lost in the ship in 6th.
StG always puts on a good showing at the Uhigh tournament. They are always coached right and have a plan of execution.
The competition level is something many of these kids don’t experience throughout their CSAL seasons and a good learning experience for them moving forward in the game.
re: University club residents, how much do y’all pay the cop to stop traffic on hwy 30

Is there any chance that Uclub residents could pay a cop to direct traffic at Nicholson and Brightside?

It was great to see OLOM, St George and St Aloyisius step out into the Uhigh tournament this past weekend. Without question the most competitive middle school tourney in Baton Rouge.
All of those teams are really well coached and play hard.

Uhigh 8th grade is not good.

OLOM gets the nod as the best team over St Aloy. OLOM seeks out real basketball competition.

Uhigh tourney
Friday starts the most competitive Middle School Event in the Baton Rouge area.
Great to see a few CSAA teams step up/out of their levels of competition. All CSAA teams that enter this event should be ranked at the top of any CSAA rankings for their willingness to compete. This years 7th grade bracket is nice and should be a good gauge for rankings next year.

"Personally just wish St Aloysius had an AD that cared more for Basketball as this team has some talent but doesn't get the tournament reps needed IMO.."
The Uhigh tourney still has a few spots available from my understanding... A few of the CSAA teams that like to challenge themselves have gotten in. Not sure why St. Aloy wouldn't get in. They are basically in the same neighborhood.

The Uhigh Middle School tournament the first week of February is close to capacity. Glad to see a couple CSAA teams hopping in. This event has quickly become the most competitive middle school basketball tournament in the area and gets the CSAA teams out of their comfort zones.

Wait, what?????
Catholic was 3rd in their district. They won state in a Bracket completely dominated by Catholic league teams. By that measure, any Catholic League team is a 4th place team in the Baton Rouge/Ascension District.

The Catholic League dominates in the amount of teams in the Division 1 bracket but hasn't won it since Jesuit's miraculous run in 2015. Hey, I am a Catholic League grad but the league is not its strongest right now.
re: So U-High is the best team in the state, regardless of classification?

Injuries and youth killed them last season. When healthy they actually had state champion St Thomas More on the ropes in the Semis last year.

John Curtis really doesn't have the Depth to play at the highest classification. Uhigh and Catholic both played a tougher regular season Schedule with how far the Catholic League has fallen.
