They won the consolation bracket in 8th and lost in the ship in 6th.
StG always puts on a good showing at the Uhigh tournament. They are always coached right and have a plan of execution.
The competition level is something many of these kids don’t experie...

It was great to see OLOM, St George and St Aloyisius step out into the Uhigh tournament this past weekend. Without question the most competitive middle school tourney in Baton Rouge.
All of those teams are really well coached and play hard. ...

The Uhigh Middle School tournament the first week of February is close to capacity. Glad to see a couple CSAA teams hopping in. This event has quickly become the most competitive middle school basketball tournament in the area and gets the CSAA teams out of their comfort zones.

Catholic was 3rd in their district. They won state in a Bracket completely dominated by Catholic league teams. By that measure, any Catholic League team is a 4th place team in the Baton Rouge/Ascension District.

The Catholic League dominates in the amount of teams in the Division 1 bracket but hasn't won it since Jesuit's miraculous run in 2015. Hey, I am a Catholic League grad but the league is not its strongest right now....

Injuries and youth killed them last season. When healthy they actually had state champion St Thomas More on the ropes in the Semis last year. ...

John Curtis really doesn't have the Depth to play at the highest classification. Uhigh and Catholic both played a tougher regular season Schedule with how far the Catholic League has fallen.
