The media has been pining for AD to leave New Orleans for a while. It sucks, but I guess that's what happens to small market teams

Saw this at lunch and was sickened.
They’ve been jacking off over the idea of this for 8 year and are now laying out deals the Lakers can offer for AD. Because frick the other 29 team in the league.

You do realize that ESPN's primary motivation is to have the Lakers be relevant?

Part of me is kind of hoping that we play hard ball with LAL and make them send us Kuzma/Ball/Hart/Ingram/19, 21 1st if they want us not to wait for the offseason.
I don't think AD/Lebron and a bunch of scrubs on limited cap space and no draft picks will accomplish jack shite.
Also, Kuzma's hip scares the everliving shite out of me considering he's the main piece in any Lakers deal.
I would honestly rather force AD to spend the next year and a half playing for the Pels and get nothing than to trade him to the Lakers for Ingram/Ball/2 picks. Not joking.
