Bad planning on that last movie. Males don't want to watch it because it's an all female cast. Females aren't interested in movies that incorporate tools and hunting things down.

Shouldn't we all ignore the female version?

Good. You can't just remake a movie, replace all the characters with women and expect it to be a hit because the original movies were successful.

Sometimes all you need to see are the previews to tell they are trying too hard and the all girl cast Ghostbusters is a great example of this.

Is it bad, as a female, I generally hate female comedians, DJ’s, but really love women that are pretty and intelligent?

Paul Feig’s 2016 reboot of the franchise, which recast the main characters as women, starring Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig, and Melissa McCarthy. While generally well-received by critics, the film was the focus of intense criticism from fans and internet trolls.

lolz

It was shitty and quite often the opposite of funny actually.

The vast majority of critics who gave it good reviews did so simply so they wouldn't be labeled misogynists or racist.

Jesus titty fricking Christ.

So according to that article the chick version failed due to internet trolls and racism.

Nothing to do with it being a horrible movie.

Kind of like Major League III. Some movies are best forgotten.
